Cyber Monday

Happy Monday!! This weekend was nuts, to say the least...I'm still trying to recover. Thursday we had an awesome Thanksgiving with good food and great company! I'm so thankful for my family. Especially these two, my greatest blessings.

Even though this little guy wasn't feeling so hot, I think he enjoyed his first Thanksgiving!

Then Friday we shopped, but I must say that Black Friday shopping isn't quite what it used to be. My sister and I used to leave the house super early and shop all day long until our Christmas lists were done, but with two little kids in tow it isn't quite as easy. Plus most of the sales seem to be exactly the same online (with free shipping) as they are in the store. So why go out in all the craziness?? I'd rather stay home in my pjs with a cup of coffee and shop right at my computer.  Either way, we had fun while we lasted.

Then Saturday, we MOVED! Yup...packed up our entire house and moved into a rental. Ugh. It was nuts. I'll go into more details of that later this week, but Saturday and Sunday are just one big blur.

So now we're just trying to unpack and get settled in. We love on our house tomorrow so wish us luck!

Ohh and why is this Monday so happy??? Because it's freaking Cyber Monday!! Yes. There is nothing I love more than a good sale! Although most of the sales have been going on all weekend long, there are a few that are only today and a complete steal! Freshly Picked is 25% off today starting at 10am. I just got these adorable navy classics and they are so stinking cute.

Lincoln loves them!! They stay on his feet so well and are perfect for him just learning to walk.

11 Months

My baby boy is officially 11 months old. Where has the time gone? This past year has seriously flown and I am SO thankful that I have been able to spend the entire year home watching him and his sister grow. It has been a dream come true! With that being said, I cannot believe that he will be one in one month...please excuse me while I go cry in the corner.

This little boy is such a delight. He makes my heart melt every single day. He's the sweetest and happiest baby ever!

He always has a smile on his face and is always just so content. I feel so lucky to be his Mama!

Although he is a total Mama's boy, he absolutely adores his big sister. Whenever she is at preschool, he will crawl into her room and look around like "where is she mom?". It's the cutest.

He also loves bath time and splashing around in the water. This month he has kept us super busy. He loves to try to walk! He can't walk unassisted yet, but he will push anything in sight to help him walk (his walker, shopping cart, chairs, stools, you name it). I am just waiting for him to take off on his own!

I cannot wait to celebrate this boy next month for his 1st birthday! I've decided to keep it a small party, but it will certainly be fun!

I'm Back

It's been quite awhile, but I'm finally back....and I couldn't be happier to be back! So so much has happened since I last blogged which means I have a lot of catching up to do! To give you a hint, I will be posting a lot about this little one....

Yup! That's our newest little babe and I cannot wait to introduce him to you. He is amazing. And he's all mine. I cannot believe that he's already TEN MONTHS OLD, but I will give you lots of updates on how he's doing and all about our transition from one to two kiddos!

Last Week of Summer

This is my last official week of summer before school starts. It has been rough! I thought that each year would get easier to leave Riley and go back, but I was so wrong. This year it is worse and I think that is because she is at such a fun age with so much personality! We were able to enjoy our summer to the fullest with so much fun together. She truly is my best friend!

I so badly wish this sweet girl could spend every day in my classroom with me....

Yesterday I went into work to set up my classroom for the day and Riley stayed home with Matt. He sent me a text around 8:00am when she woke up telling me that she was hysterical when she realized I wasn't here. It made me so incredibly sad! He then asked if I would be able to talk to her on the phone so she called my cell and it made me so happy, yet sad, to hear her voice. She had so many tears in her voice and kept saying she missed and loved me. My heart broke! On the bright side, Matt decided to pick me up for lunch so that the 3 of us could be together....it was wonderful!

Needless to say, I'm not at all looking forward to next week. I still have today off and Friday off with her, but in-services on Wednesday and Thursday....I will be counting down the hours til it is over! I will also be starting a countdown until my maternity leave so that I can spend 8 months with both of my babies!!! Only 4 months of work this year....I can do it.

Also, since school is starting back up, I am going to be taking a break from blogging. I will be back, but I'm taking a break for now. I haven't been blogging as much lately since I have been working on last years blurb book and I really want to get that finished up!

Jenn & Rob's Wedding

This weekend we traveled to Erie for Jenn & Rob's wedding. We were so looking forward to this little getaway and it came and went way too fast!

Their wedding was absolutely gorgeous and probably the prettiest wedding that I had ever been to!! The Lake Erie Yacht Club was a perfect setting for a summer wedding! I also loved Jenn's dress....she looked beautiful! I cannot wait to see all of her professional pictures once she gets them back :)

August

Once August arrives, I start to go into major depressed mode about going back to work. I hate, hate, hate this time of year. It's so hard to think about leaving my little girl every single day. We have such an amazing time together every day over the summer. We do so many fun things together and it breaks my heart knowing that I will only get a few hours a day with her. Next week is my last full week that I have off with her and I've already teared up a few times about it. Ugh this is so tough. I wish so badly that our precious time together wasn't coming to an end, but I'm embracing the moments that we have together.
