Life Lately

We all cannot wait for the weather to warm up again so that we can play outside, but lately we have been kinda stuck indoors.

Hanging out in her crib with all of her favorites....

I spy a naked baby in my bed....

Riley wanted to take her baby in the bathtub with her and she pretended to wash her and even put shampoo in her hair....

She had her 2 year doctors appointment and she got really nervous when she heard the baby in the room next door crying, but she ended up doing SO good....

On Friday, we were ready for the Pens game....

Before the game, we all got check-ups....

Unfortunately, the Pens lost and are out of the playoffs...boo.

We ended the weekend with some fro-yo....

Why do weekends go so fast?!

Parenthood

I officially finished Parenthood and I have to say that this might be my favorite show EVER. I have been hooked on a lot of shows in the past, but none of them have touched my heart quite as much as this one. It is definitely at the top of my list.

I have to say that I loved every single member of this family. Each of them had their moments, but in the end, I loved them all. So much so that I actually wish I was a Braverman. Here are just a few of my favorite things about this show.

One....

Kristina. I hate to admit it, but I was not initially a Kristina fan. I thought she was slightly annoying, but the more I got to know her, the more I fell in love with her caring nature. She was such an amazing mom, especially when it came to Max. She worked so hard to fight for him every chance that she got and she never ever, ever gave up. She was forgiving and genuine. Those kids could not have had a better mom.

Two....

Crosby. I swear every time he was on the screen I would remark about how much I loved him. He was hilarious, yet sensitive. He was probably the only character on the show who didn't make me cry.

Three....

Max and Hank's relationship. When Hank first appeared on the show, I was not a fan. I loved Mark, so I was bummed when Mark and Sarah broke up, but I'm so glad that Hank stayed around. Hank was AMAZING with Max, truly amazing. He taught Max so much and had so much patience for him. I had a special place in my heart for Max and it made me so happy for him to find someone who could relate to him. (On a side note, the actor who played the part of Max should win an award...he was phenomenal).

Four....

The fact that Julia and Joel got back together. These two killed me...literally killed me. I was so mad at both of them. I was mad at Joel for leaving, then I was mad at Julia for moving on, but I was thrilled to see them work things out.

Five....

The fever. This just made me laugh every time one of them got "the fever". I love that the whole family just dances their troubles away.

Six....

the closeness of this family. I love that they were always so close and would have each other's backs in a heartbeat. They told each other everything and even when they argued it never lasted long.

Seven....

Their family dinners. I love this table. I love the lights. I love how nothing matches. I love everything about this. I want to take all of this and bring it to my own house...actually, I just wanted to move right in.

I loved this show and I was so happy with how it ended. It made me laugh, smile and cry, cry, cry. I think I sobbed during every single episode towards the end. I just wish it wasn't over, but I bet I eventually re-watch it from start to finish. Now I just have to find a new show to watch on Netflix. I'll miss my Bravermans.

Silly Toddler

If this doesn't make you laugh, I don't know what will.

I had asked Riley if she could get me a roll of toilet paper and she ran right into the other bathroom (where we keep the extra toilet paper), but it seemed to be taking her a little too long....that's when I walked in and saw this....

HAHAHA! She tried. Too cute not to laugh! :)
