Riley's Favorite Things

Since this weekend is Riley's birthday, I figured I'd make today's Friday Favorites all about Riley's favorite things at 2 years old :)

One....

her dog. Riley love, love, loves this dog! It calms her down within seconds and she could not sleep without it. I bought this dog for Riley last year for Easter and boy am I glad I did. She also sleeps with her Lambie, Cinderella and Elsa, but her dog is hands down her favorite. She rubs the dog between her little fingers and it is the cutest thing!

Two....

playing outside. This girl loves the outdoors and she is constantly saying "out" asking to run around outside. Nothing makes this girl happier than the fresh air.

Three....

tutus. She is such a girly girl it's insane. She insists on wearing tutus all the time and she looks so darn cute in them. This Cinderella tutu is hands down her favorite one.

Four....

getting her nails done. Speaking of girly girl, she loves her polish! I started painting her nails and toenails a few months ago and now she is obsessed. She even points out when they chip.

Five....

reading books. Riley has a little bookshelf and a basket of books in her room. She could sit for hours flipping through each book pretending to read it on her own. We read at least 3 books every night before bedtime and this is one of my favorite times of day.

Six....

bathtime. She has always been a fan of bathtime and I definitely think she is going to love the pool this year. She pretends to swim in the tub.

Seven....

playing hide-n-seek. This is one of her favorite things to do at night, especially with her daddy. She just looks at him and says "hide" and then they run around to find the perfect hiding spot and I have to go find them. She laughs and laughs and laughs.

Eight....

Doc Mcstuffins. This is the first tv show that she ever really liked and she is still obsessed. It is a super cute kids show about a girl who is a doctor for stuffed animals and toys. Almost all of her Christmas gifts this year were Doc McStuffins things.

Nine....

Cinderella. This was the first movie we ever sat down and watched together and she loves this Disney classic.

Ten....

Fozen. Riley is obsessed with Frozen. If she could talk more, she could probably tell you every single line in this movie. In fact, the words that she can say, she does. She reenacts every single scene doing every jump, turn, everything. She sings "Let it Go" like a champ and I find myself watching her while we watch it instead of the movie itself.

These are just some of Riley's favorite things, but I'm sure I could think of many more! She has such a big heart and her personality is contagious! :)

Happy Birthday Weekend Riley!!!!! Cannot believe you are turning two!
